Emerald Lake Lodge is located in Yoho National Park, twenty minutes west of Lake Louise. Its 24 cabin style buildings offer 85 guest rooms with fieldstone fireplaces and spectacular views. Built in 1902 Emerald Lake Lodge is a hand-hewn log structure that features massive stone fireplaces, a formal dining room, quiet reading/sitting rooms, and a games room. Emerald Lake Lodge offers a true escape from the hurried and hectic pace of modern life. There are no televisions and no internet access in any of the rooms, and no mobile phone reception in the entire area of Yoho National Park. There is a television, as well as internet access, in the Games Room in the main lodge. Emerald Lake Lodge is the only year round backcountry lodge accessible by car in the area.
