Sun Valley Ski & Snowboard School supervisors select a clinic best suited for you. Your instructor will monitor your skill improvement to ensure you will continue to be a part of clinic that responds to your progress.

Beginners and low intermediate skiers will join fun groups on the gentle, treeless terrain of Dollar Mountain and quickly progress to Baldy's College or Seattle Ridge. These areas provide the novice skier with the perfect environment to learn.

Intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders joining clinics on Baldy will find themselves matched with instructors who will offer a challenge in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. And, most importantly, the fun of sharing the exhilarating sport with a group will be emphasized in every clinic regardless of ability.


Sun Valley Ski & Snowboard School takes the art of teaching youngsters well beyond just babysitting. It is important to the hand-picked instructors who take charge of the children's camp that their pupils have fun, build confidence and develop skills in a setting that seems like child's play.

Dollar Mountain camp are tailored to the needs of 4- to 12- year olds. Sound fundamentals are emphasized, and lunch breaks are supervised. Supervision begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. on Dollar Mountain.

The "Bald Eagles" ski & Snowboard camp strengthen technique for the 6-12-year-old intermediate to expert skier and snowboarder on Baldy. Classes begin and end at River Run Plaza. Supervision begins at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:45 p.m. Sign up at River Run Plaza Children's Center only.
