Resort overview

Set in the pristine wilderness, just 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alyeska Resort is the premier destination for your Alaska vacation.

Mt. Alyeska offers unparalleled views of snowcapped mountains, hanging glaciers and the dancing Northern Lights. Wide open bowls and long top-to-bottom runs are sure to please intermediate skiers and riders, while tree-lined runs are ideal for the beginner. Experts relish the North Face, North America's longest continuous Double Black Diamond run. Lighted nighttime terrain and the most spring daylight hours in the United States makes Alyeska Resort a unique adventure for every guest.
Experience the last frontier where winter adventures await. From glacier dogsledding to heli-skiing in the Chugach Range, from flightseeing and wildlife viewing to snowshoeing and ice climbing, activities for all ages and abilities are available. We recommend everyone, including non-skiers, experience the beauty of Alyeska by taking a tram ride to the Glacier Terminal viewing deck, located at 2,300 feet on Mt. Alyeska. Telescopes on the viewing deck magnify the majestic mountains, hanging glaciers, towering spruce and abundant wildlife.
While the views make take your breath away, the crisp mountain air may just stimulate your appetite. Located at the top of the tram, Seven Glaciers restaurant is one of only two AAA 4-Diamond restaurants in Alaska.

SnowVentures Staff Tip: Due to seasonal daylight hours, we recommend visiting Alyeska between mid-February and the end of the season.
