Deer Valley Ski Resort's Great Beginner and Intermediate Terrain

At an elevation of 8,400 feet, Bald Eagle Mountain offers ideal terrain for beginner and intermediate skiers. First timers will appreciate the separate, protected beginners' area known as Wide West, accessed by two chairlifts, Burns and Snowflake. Bald Mountain, at an elevation of 9,400 feet, offers intermediate and challenging skiing with spectacular views. Strong skiers in search of steeper, ungroomed trails and Utah's famous light powder will be rewarded on numerous runs in the Sultan and Mayflower areas. The 9,100-foot Flagstaff Mountain offers a variety of intermediate and beginner ski trails especially well suited for family skiing, in addition to extensive gladed areas. Skiers also will find access to Ontario Bowl along with spectacular views of Park City and the mountains to the east. Empire Canyon, at 9,570 feet, offers intermediate terrain along with some of the most advanced skiing at Deer Valley, including eight chutes and three bowls. Empire Canyon also will be home to a new lift-served family ski area. A new triple chairlift and two new ski runs will provide even more room for family fun.

Ideal for families, Deer Valley not only offers varying terrain, but its ski school has many programs for all ages: children, teenagers and adults alike. The ski school also operates a licensed childcare facility for non-skiing children ages 2 months to 12 years old.

OVERVIEW

Park City Mountain Resort 2018/2019 Ski Season Dates: November 21, 2018 - April 14, 2019

Imagine dropping off into deep powder bowls, turning tightly down steep chutes or gliding over the same groomed runs as the 2002 Olympians. Sound intriguing? We make it easy for you to do just that with our Park City ski packages and snowboard specials. Save yourself some money on airfare, ground transportation, equipment rentals, lift tickets and lodging. Save yourself some time by taking care of it all right here!

Park City has been referred to by many as the heart of American skiing and it's been that way for more than 45 years. Winter sports are so ingrained in this town that they even have a chairlift right in the historic Main Street district. Eat some lunch, buy some clothes, check out some galleries and walk right back to the lift for some more fun on the slopes. How convenient is that?

Park City Mountain Resort offers approximately 3,300 skiable acres spread over seven peaks and an average of 300 inches of snow per year. It's been voted one of the top 10 resorts in North America by the readers of SKI Magazine and is the favorite training ground for many professionally skiers and riders.

The terrain varies considerably and with approximately 100 trails to choose from, everyone in your group will soon have their favorites dialed in. Whether you spend the day cruising intermediates, floating through the powder in McConkey's Bowl, challenging yourself on the pitches of Jupiter Peak or flying high on the largest superpipe in the US, you'll spend the evening looking forward to doing it all again the next day.

All of this is located just 32 freeway miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport, making this one of the most accessible ski resorts in the US. Read Less
